Magi & Rabbi
MAR is the brainchild of Oluwayomi (‘Yomi) Babatunde. He holds Ph.D. (Project Management, with specialty in Quality Management) and M.Sc. (Project Management) degrees from the National University of Singapore. M.Arch and B.Sc. Honors degrees in Architecture from the Obafemi Awolowo University (Nigeria). And a PGDip in Education (specialty in Higher Education) degree with Distinction from the University of the Witwatersrand (Wits), South Africa.
His professional working experiences span Architecture, Interior Design, Property Management, and Project Management in Nigeria, Singapore, and South Africa. He has successfully managed the delivery of different scopes of primary and secondary school brownfield and Greenfield projects, fitted with indoor sports halls and football fields; a private university; a public polytechnic; a general hospital; and an international airport terminal upgrade.
He has worked with different higher education institutions (HEIs) and HEI affiliates to chair review sessions on project management courses and accreditation programs, and directed an MSc-level project management program. He served, in brief, as the President of the Postgraduate Forum for Southern Africa, during when his vision saw to steering the restructuring of the portfolio of the executive members and the seminal design of the Forum’s strategic objectives.
